NEW TAXATION. HOW IT WOULD AFFECT IRELAND. Received May 5, 8.41 a.m. LONDON, May 5. Mr Lloyd-George, Chancellor of the Excnequer, replying in the House of Commons to a question by Mr Kettle, member for lyrone, said the Treasury estimated that Ireland would pi? £640,000 out of thj total of £14.200,000 of new taxation. Interviewed by a representative of the "Daily Telegraph," Mr LloydGeorge said the proposed super-tax on incomes would not apply to joint stock companies. It relate" only to individuals.
