Received May 4, 12.40 a.m. MELBOURNE, May 3. The Postmaster-General states that he cannot undertand the New Zealand Minister of Marine's recent statement that there was chance of Australia joining in the All Red scheme under the conditions outlined by Canada, since the Federal Government had rmde special arrangements under which six vessels would be built. Mr Thomas points out that the only six vessels with which the Federal Government are concerned are new boats for the Orient service, and they have no relation whatever to the All Red scheme.
