NO-LICENSE IN OAMARU.

MEDICAL TESTIMONY. By Telegraph—Press Association. OAMARU, April 30. The four medical men practising in Oamaru have signed the following statement:—"ln view of the fact that commissioners from Australia and others visiting Oamaru to enquire regarding the working of NoLicense appear to have formed erroneous impressions which reflect upon the drinking habits of this community, we think it advisable that our united experience should be made public. We find in making cur continual visits to the homes of the people that there is no evidence to show that drinking in the homes is more prevalent than it was in license times. Our united experience shows that there is a decrease in the cases treated which result from alcoholism, and we are convinced No-License has been of great benefit to the community, from a inoral and health point of view."
