(From Our Resident Reporter.) Friday. The annual meeting of members of the Wairarapa and East Coast P. and A. Society was held to-day, when there was a large attendance of members. Mr H. R. Bunny presided, and the anrvial report was read and adopted.' It was decided that if the Government again refused to accept Mr Buchanan's offer for the'establishing of an experimental farm, the Society take it up and apply for a £1 for £1 subsidy. The election of officers resulted:—President, Mr H. K. Bunny (re-elected); Vice-Presidents, Messrs W. Howard Booth and E. Eagle, jnr. (re-elected); Treasurer, Mr G. W. Deller (Mr J. M. Lightfoot to act during his absence); Committee, Messrs C. Campbell, A. Clark, W. J. Denbee, S. W. Feast, D. P. Loasby, W. W. Manfield, J. G. McDonald, J. Monaghan, C. Morgan, D. Reid, A. J. Reynolds, G. Sievers, J. Snell, J. T. Tiison, J. Standen, G. Gaskin, A. G. Tyer. Mr J. Moncrieft' was re-elected Auditor. This afternoon the funeral of the late Mrs Wilde, senr., of Dalefield, took place at the Clareville Cemetery. On t'ie local Bowling Grjen yesterday afternoon, M;asrs F. Rawlings and C. J. De challenger J defeated Messrs W. J. Hill and W. J. Steer by 25 to 14, for the ferns.
