SUSPENSION OP SIEGE OF TABRIZ. POWERFUL APPEAL TO THE SHAH. United Press Ass siation-By Electric Telegraph Copyright. Received April 30, 8.35 a.m. TEHERAN, April 29. The Shah's action in granting a suspension of the siege of Tabriz and allowing the town to be provisioned, was due to a powerful appeal to him by the Nationalists to rescue their common country from foreign intervention and the danger of partition. All political offenders in Tabriz and Teheran have since been amnestied. ADVANCE OF THE RUSSIANS. Received May 1, 12.5 a.m. TEHERAN, April 30. The Russians have reached the outskirts of Tabriz.
