RACISG. OTAKI MAORI RACING CLUB. WINTER MEETING. The programme of the Otaki-Maori Racing Club which is published elsewhere, is a particularly attractive one, the stakes totaling 1,900 sovs for the fourteen events. The first day's events are alloted 1,045 sovs, of which the Raukawa Club receives 400 sovs. The chief event of the second day, the Huia Handicap, is awarded 230 sovs, and there is a general all round increase, only two of the fourteen races receive less thsn 100 sovs. Such a capital programme should draw excellent nominations, which close With the secretary, Mr Hema R. Te Ao, Otaki, on Mav 14th next.
