ELECTION OF BOROUGH COUNCILLORS
To the Editor. Sir,-If only for the fact that Cr Yarr has been mindful of the point that the public expect some sort _ of appreciation of the position of Borough Councillor, in that be has addressed public meetings in support of his candidature, I think he is entitled to a substantial measure of support at the present election. In spite of somewhat serious charges having been levelled at the past year's administrators—composed, it seems, of seven councillors and a Mayoronly two, Cr Yarr and the Mayor, have attempted to give the public any degree of enlightenment of the real position of affairs. Ratepayers should make a note of this.— I am, etc., ELECTOR.
