IMPERIAL PICTURES.
AN ENJOYABLE ENTERTAINMENT. There was a large attendance at the Town Hall, last evening, when the Imperial Picture Company gave an entertainment. An excellent programme was submitted, including a large range of pictures never before seen in Masterton. The audience were most demonstrative in their applause all through. Some of the coloured pictures were very beautiful, while the comic films kept the audience in roars of laughter. "<The Attack on the Dreadnought" was a particularly fine film, as was the "Fountain of Versailles," and "Victoria Falls." Among other pictures that called for special mention were the following: —'The New Errand Boy," "Squawman's Daughter," "Mysterious Cot," "The Rag Pickers," "My Hat," "Enchanted Pond," "The Rcklesa Horseman," "Soldier's Wedding," "His First Row," "Oh, That Cat," Hooligans in the Far West," and "The Tricks of a Police Inspector." The entertainment proved most enioyable, and certainly a better lot of have not been seen in Mastertun, the audience being most liberal in their applause. Another entertainment will be given this evening.
