SEIGE OF TABRIZ.
RELIEF MEASURES. RUSSIAN FORCES ADVANCING. Received April 26, 8.55 a.m. ST. PETERSBURG,. April 25. Two Russian battalions, * battery of artillery, and a-quick-firer company, have started for Tabriz, where the inhabitants are starving on account of the long ?iege by the troops. M. Isvolsky. Russian Minister for Foreign Affairs, in a circular Note to the Powers, explains that the expedition is to be restricted to measures of relief and the protection-of the Consulates and foreigners. When order is restored the detachment will be withdrawn.
NATIONALISTS AND ROYALISTS UNEASY. Received April 27, 10.5 p.m.. TEHERAN, April 27. Other Russians are marching from Tiflis to Tabriz. The Shah, after negotiating with the besieged, consented to an indefinite prolongation ot the armistice. Both Nationalists and Royalists are profoundly uneasy at Russian intervention.
