Mr J. C. Boddington reports that the rainfall on the Upper Plain for the 24 hours up till 9 a.m. on Saturday last was 28 points, and for the 24 hours up till 9 a.m. on Sunday 2 points. Bates' weather forecast to 3 p.m. to-mor-row Moderate to strong south-east winds are probable ncrth of New Plymouth and Napier, and increasing northerly winds elsewhere y barometer fall slowly rorth of New Plymouth and Napier, and more rapidly elsewhere after 12 hours generally.
