TOWNS IN DANGER. United Press Association—By Eleotrio Telegraph* Copyright. NEW YORK, April 23. Twenty miles of ice, from twenty to'seventy feet thick, are piled in the Niagara river. Engineers are attempting to release the water by dyamite, to prevent the overflow of the river and the swamping of Lewiston, Queenston, Ybungstown, and Niagara-on-the-Lake.
