ALARMING EARTHQUAKE.

MUCH DAMAGE DONESEVERAL PERSONS INJURED. Received April 25, 4 p.m. LISBON, April 24. There was an alarming eaithquake in Portugal yesterday, the shock being felt from Algaroa to Oporto. Much damage wa* done. Several persons were injured. The most violent oscillation oc-curred-in Lisbon. The burning coals in a kitchen range in a house in the lower partof the city were shaken on to the floor and started a firo whicn the fire brigade extinguished.
