BOROUGH ELECTION. TO THE ELECTORS. I" ADIES .A-ltfD GENTLEMEN,-In J response to a generally expressed wish, I again offer my service a Coui, cillor. Masterton, in general with other towns in the Dominion, is eufl'uiing through the prevailing depression; and every effort should be made by the new Council to lighten the burden that is at present pressing very heavily upon ratepayers. I am strongly of the opinion that with economy and careful administration a general rate of 2d on the present valuation is sufficient for all requirements for the next two years at least. If you honour me with your confidence, as in the past, I shall do my best in your interests and for the welfare of our town. F. W. TEMPLE.
