The Clareville College intend entering a team for the Third-class Championship of the Wairarapa Rugby Union. The football challenge was accepted by the brothers Randall, of Llanelly; the brothers Phillips, of Maesycwmmer; the brothers Davies, of Lllandilo; and the brothers Williams, of Ammanford; all in South Wales; and by the brothers Hall, of Gloucester, and the brothers Marsh, of Newcastle-on-Tyne. No Scotch or Irish team has accepted. The Carterton team to play Red Stars, at Carterton, on Saturday next, is as follows•:—Mason, Underhili, F. Groube, Hall, Londen, N. McKenzie, Taylor, Hendersan, Barry, Brown, H. McKenzie, Blake, Bond, A. Thomas and Cadwallader.
