(To the Editor). Sir,— Referring to. the challengeof His Worship the Mayor (Mr P. L. Hollings) published in your paper on Monday last, in which he offered to discuss municipal matters with me from the same platform, providing I contested the Mayoralty with him, I hereby accept that offer.. It now only remains for the Mayor to appoint the time and place of meet-- \ ing.—l am, etc., JOHN HUNTER.
