ADVANTAGES OF LONDON OFFICES. ' Received April 20, 9.10 a.m. LONDON, April 19. Mr T. A. Coghlan, New South Wales Agent-General, in a letter to "The Times," in reply to Australian correspondents' strictures, claims that the New South Wales office in London has prevented thousands of persons from emigrating whose presence in Australia would not be an advantage to that country. On the other hand, thanks to the businesslike . methods of the various States, thousands of excellent settlers have established themselves in Australia in recentjyears.
