FEILDING BOROUGH VALUATIONS.

A PROTEST. By Telegraph—Press Association. I FELDING, April 20. The Feilding Chamber of Commerce last night entered a protest against the recent valuation of borough property. It was stated that this valuation showed an all-round increase of 75 per cent, on that of two years ago. This was characterised as unjust, and unfair, in view of the depression in the borough. The Council was asked to take action.. A publicmeeting is to be held to arrange cases for the court.
