ELECTION FUND. LEVY ON MEMBERS. Received April 13, 10.30 p.m. LONDON, April 13. The Independent Labour Conference has resolved to make a levy of a shilling per member towards the Election Fund. Mr Phillip Snowden, M.P. for Blackburn, stated that each candidate cost £4,000. The sum of £II,OOO was needed to contest the constituencies already arranged. At present the Party were fundless.
