UNIVERSITY TOURNAMENT.
By Telegraph—Press Association. WELLINGTON, April 13. The New Zealand University Tournament was practically concluded to-day, only three finals in tennis matches remaining to De played. . In the ladies' doubles, two Canterbury College teams will play off at Christchurch. The finals of the combined doubles and men's doubles will be decided to-morrow afternoon. In the final cf the ladies singles, Miss Reeve j (Victoria College) beat Miss Grace I (Canterbury College), 12—10. In; the semi-finals of the ladies' doubles, I Misses Cross and Jameson (Canterbury) beat Misses Haslett and Woodhouse (Otago), 9—l. Misses Grace and Paterson (Canterbury) beat Misses Moore and Edwards (Otapn), 9 —5. In the semi-finals of the combined doubles, Jennings and Miss Grace (Canterbury) beat Richardson and Miss McLaughlin (Auckland), 6—o, 6—l; Gower and Miss Edwards (Otago) beat Cleghorn and Miss Mc-' Intosh (Victoria College), 6—o, 6—l. In the final of the men's singles, Jennings (Canterbury) beat Moody (Otago), 6—o, 7—5. In the semi-finals of the men's doubles, Jennings and Wilding (Canterbury) beat Smith and Cleghorn (Victoria College), 6—o, 6—o; Bundle and Gower (Otago) beat Richardson and Taylor (Auckland), 6—4, 6-.3. The ladies hockey match, Victoria College v. Otago University, gnde3 in a draw, each side scoring two goals. The Victoria Coitegg ftugby team defeated & team 1 from the! three other colleges by 12 points td 3'.
