PLOTTING A REVOLUTION.
IN FAVOUR OF EX-PRESIDENT CASTRO. ARMS AND AMMUNITION SHIPPED. Received April 12, 9.10 a.m. CARACAS, April 11. A strong movement in favour of ex-President Castro is reported from the Orinoco district of Venezuela. It is stated that Castro has promised his>dherenta one-half of his fortune in case of a successful revolution.
Castro has freighted four steamers at Antwerp to land arms and ammunition at a point where their arrival is secretly awaited. CASTRO TROUBLES. Received April 13, 12.30 a.m. FORT DE FRANCE, April 12. Ex-President Castro pretended to be ill when ordered aboard a French steamer at Fort De France, capital of Martinique, but was not allowed to delay. He proceeds to Teneriffe. On leaving he refused to dress, and the authorities placed him on a stretcher and carried him aboard the steamer clothed in his underwear. He complained of an intolerable pain in his ab'domen and kidneys.
