DEATH SENTENCE PASSED. AN ACCUSATION AGAINST DINIZULU. DURBAN, April 9. A Special Court, sitting at Maritzburg, sentenced a native named Matjane to death for murdering a native doctor named Gence, and an accomplice, named Niiji, to two years' penal servitude. The presiding judge emphasised the fact that the prisoners declared that Dinizulu had ordered the murder. This statement afforded the only in telligible motive for the crime.
