CO-OPERATIVE FREEZING COMPANY.
MEETING AT WOODVILLE. ißy Telegraph—Press Association. WOODVILLE, April 7. A representative meeting of delegates (from thß Bush Districts, Palmerston North, Feildang, and Waiararapa, was .held at Woodville this afternoon, for the .purpose of forming a co-operative freezing company. Mr J. C. Coaper occupied the chair. The delegates reported the results of the meetings held in their respective .distracts, the sum total of which was an favour ot forming & co-oper-ative freezing company. The meeting affirmed (the desirability of Drming a and discussed at length where the site of the works should ibe. No 'finality : in this respect was arrived at, but it was decided to let it be a question for the shareholders to decade. A company was then legally started, nominal capital to be one tiundred thousand pounds in shares of -five pounds each. A provisional Board was appointed, consisting of Messrs J, C, Cooper, Lomax (Pahiatua), Kummer (Mauriceville), Wingate, Bajsillie (Palmerston North), Broikes, Mcllroy Feilding), Groves, McKenzie, Browi\ Falconer (Wairarapa), McDonald (Waitahora), and a representative from Pongaroa. Mr J. C. Cooper chairmari'of Directors, s»id Mr Milne (Masterton) secretary.
