TRAINING SOCIAL WORKERS.
A SALVATION ARMY SCHEME,

Commander Evangeline Booth, of New York, announces that the Salvation Army is raising five million dollars (rather more than a million sterling) for a World University of Humanity, for the purpose of training workers in social service.
It is proposed to establish branches in each of the fifty-four countries where the Army is working.
