THE PETONE FATALITY.

jury's verdict: By Telegraph—Press Association. WELLINGTON, April 3. The jury's verdict concerning the death at Petone of Samuel Wilson was that death was due to severe shock received by a fall with the roof of a building in course of erection at the Gear Company's works. The jury expressed the opinion that the roof fell by reason of the braces at both ends being removed too soon, and by tie fact that the principals Nos. 1 and 2 had not been placed in proper position.
