An unfortunate accident happened last>vening to Mr K. McLennan, the local representative of Messrs Dalgety and Co. Mr McLennan, in company with Mr F. Mr j Evans escaped with a slight shaking, , and was abie to obtain a conveyance I and take Mr McLennan to Pahistua, | two miles distant, where he was atI tended by Dr. Dawson. The buggy ; was bddjy damaged, but the horses, 1 a valuable pair, were uninjured. It 'has been pointed out to me that the 'corner where the accident occurred is a very sharp one, and.it would , be better for public safety if some- ! thing were to make the corner a safer one to negotiate. j The Woodville. friends of Mr LoI gar, who met with a severe accident ' the other day, will be pleased to learn that he is improving. Mr Logan is at present in the Pahiatua Hospital.
