FOOTBALL.
A meeting of the Junior and Thirdclass members of the Red Star Football Club will be held in the Y.M.C. A. Building at 8 o'clock this evening. I fins informed, writes our Carterton correspondent, that the fiover Football 01ub anticipate some difficulty in putting in a senior team this year. This is not an .indication that Vitugby fe on the down grade here, but is due to the fact that Saturday fbotis preferred by players, on account of there being more competition.
