By Telegraph- Special to Wairarapa Age. PALMERSTON N., April 1. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report: —We had a very fair yarding of both aheep and cattle. I Young ewes sold well r but old ewes ! were hard to quit. However, we ! managed to clear the bulk of the yard. Young cattle sold at current rates, but the demand for big buliJ qcks or steers was very dull. We ; quote:—Two-tooth ewes, small, 10s; j mixed aged Lincoln ewes. i)s ?d; I 4 and 5-ye»r ewes from 6s to 8s 6d; 16-tooth and 4-year ewes, 9s 9d. j Cattle.-- Three-year steers, £4* 19s; I 2-year heifers, £2; yearling heifars, ! 22s to 31s; fat and forward cows, j £3 to £3 lis; old cows, 37s 6d.
