HOCKEY.
The opening match uf' the season was played by the High School girls yesterday afternoon, on the School •Recreation Ground, between teams selected by the Captain and ViceCaptan. A good game was witnessed. "The School team will be strengthened this year by the •inclusion of all the junior lady teachers. The silver cup donated by Mr J. Fuller, and won on last season's play by Miss Vera "Hunter, was presented yesterday at - the prize-giving function by Mr R. ' Brown, Chairman of the School Committee. '
