SHEEP-DIPPING. INTERESTING EXPERIMENT BY A WELL-KNOWN OTAGO STATION MANAGER. Only by conducting careful experiments can perfection be attained. Science never stands still. Smith, the well-known manager of Morven Hills Station, Otago, conducted a careful experiment in and has handed in his report to Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., Dunedin. Dear Sirs, —I l am in receipt of yours of Ist inst re Quibell's sheep dip, and am pleased to say the results have been entirely satisfactory. Besides about 12,000 halfbred and merino hoggets we dipped a gjod many of the settlers flocks, and as far as I know they are all clean and healthy.
