Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on their Masterton stock sale held yesterday as follows:—A medium entry of both sheep and cattle was offered to a fair attendance of the the public, and notwithstanding the recent drop in price of fats we had a satisfactory clearance. We quote':— Sheep: Wethers (of which there was a good yarding), 10s to 10s 9d; two-tooth ewes {small), lis; breeding ewes, 10s to - lis 3d; atone ewes, 4s 4d to 7s sd; cull ewes, Ss 3d; lambs, 6s 8d to 9s. Rams: Linr coins, 1 to 2gns; Romneys, J to 3gns; Shropshires, 2 to 2Jgns; Southdowns, 2 to 4gns; Border Leicesters, ign.~? Cattle: Fat cows (light), £3 10s t0:53 18s; forward cows, £2 10s to i>3 ';';■ store cows,, £1 10s to £2\ empty heifers, £2 2s to £2 10s; two and a-half-year steers, £4; mixed weaners, 10s 6d to 15s 6d.
