METEOROLOGICAL.
By Telegraph—Press Association. WELLINGTON, March 30. The following is Captain Edwin's weather forecast to 3 p.m. tomorrow: —Wind probably strong to gale and generally from the westward; there are indications for rain in most parts of the country.
Mr J. C. Boddington reports that the rainfall registered at Upper Plain for the 24 hours preceding 9 a.m. on Monday was 76 points. For the 24 hours preceding 9 a.m. of Tuesday 1.24 inches, making for the period of practically 24 hours two inches of rainfall.
