A SERIOUS ACCIDENT.

By Telegraph—Press Association, AUCKLAND, March 27.

A serious accident happened to Mr Rollett, of Wellington, at Tohaanui, on Saturday evening. He was on his way to a hot bath by himself, when getting on the wrong track in the darkness he fell into one of the large boiling pools beside, and was severely scalded. Fortunately some friends were close by and rescued him, and conveyed him to the hotel, where a visiting doctor attended to his injuries.
