ROYAL WELSH MALE CHOIR.

Enthusiasm, which displays itself in the encoring of every number on the programme, denotes a very pronounced appreciation. That a wellbalanced, and beautifully toned choir of twenty-two male voices should be unreservedly praised by recognised English, American and Australian musical critics, argues the attainment of excellence. With this reputation proceeding them, the farfamed Royal Welsh Male choir will appeal to the susceptibilities of our great- music loving public, and the advent of this remarkable band of vocalists at the Town Hall, Masterton, on Saturday and Monday evening next, under the direction of Messrs J. N. Tait, should awaken chords of responsive interest. Extremely popular is Mr W. Thomas, the gifted conductor of the choir. The "Australian Star" (Sydney) said, "to those who are accustomed »to hear the beauties of hymns, * clouded in our churches by droning, unvarying expression, the choir's rendition of "Abide with; Me" must have been a revelation." Reserved seats may be booked from 10 o'clock, to-m"rrow morning, at Miss Rive's. Country residents are urged to book by post by forwarding remittance and stamped addressed envelope for reply to Messrs J. and N. Tait, care of Box Office.
