FOSTERING BRITISH INTERESTS.
SYDNEY, March 27. Mr Wickes, the British Board of Trade represenatative, met the Chamber of Commerce, and urged th 9 necessity of fostering British interests. The object of his mission to Australia, he said, was, largely, to promote exchange of the raw for the manufactured article. Mr Wickes added that he was confident that there would be a big expansion in trade between England and Australia.
