TENUI NOTES.
| (From Our O .vn Correspondent). | TENUI, March 24. I Yesterday morning, shortly afler J sunrise, a motor-car came whizzing i into the township, and as usual, j horses held their heads high in the air, and snorted. The occupants of the car were Messrs J. Pinhey and A. Daniell. The car was pulled up and the travellers were soon at work with chain arid a map, on a curner section. On interviewing Mr Pinhey about all the excitement in this quiet little ba:k country township so early in the. morning, this well-known livery stable-keeper and coach proprietor, in his usual genial manner, said, "We have bought this section of latid, also that cottage, and are building a stable Suit by 112 ft, also several looseboxes. The building will be up-to-date and will give ample accommodation for all requirements; there will be a ladies' waiting-roon and parcel room." The cottage will be removed to t h e rear of the stables, a (id if the man in charge is a married v man, he can, if he wishes supply tea to any travellers on the coaches. Needless to say their up-to-date stables will fill a long-felfc want, and j is another proof of the entcvpi isine: . management of Messrs Pinhey , Brothers.
