FOOTBALL.

The annual meeting of the Red Star Club will be held in the Y.M.C.A. Rbom, this evening, at 8 o'clock. As business of an important nature has to be dealt with all members and intending members are requested to be present. The Te Ore Ore Club will hold their annual meeting this evening in the Masterton South Band Shed. Mr J. O'Leary, the well-known and popular captain of the Masterton Club, has decided to take up his residence in Auckland, and will leave shortly for that city. Mr O'Leary will play for the Ponsonby Club. .Lhe removal of Mr O'Leary will prove a serious loss not only to the Masterton Club but to the Wairarapa, as he was one of the finest centre threequarters this district has produced.
