(By Telegraph-Special to Wairarapa Age). PALMERrfTON N., March 25. Messrs Abraham and Wililams, Ltd., report on their Palmerston N. sale to-day as follows: —We had a full yarding of all classes of stock. There was a large attendance, ai.d competition for sound breeding ewes and good lambs was keen. Very little enquiry existed for steers or grown bullocks. All other lineo sold readily, and a good clearance was made at the following quotations: —Four and 6tooth ewes 12s Gd, 2-tooth ewes 10s 4d to 10s 6d, mixed age ewes 7s 9d to 9s lid, f.m. ewes 6s to 8s 6d, aged ewes 4s to 5s 3d, cull, ewes ,3s to 3s 6d, forward lambs 7s Id to 7s 9d, cull lambs 4s 3d to 5s 7d, 2-tooth wethers 8s 2d to 8s 6d, 2-tooth blackface ewes 9s Id, Shropshire rams £2 2s to £2 9s, Romney rams 1J to 1J guineas, 2*-year steers £3 Is to £3 4s 6d, 2-year steers £2 10s to £2 18s, fat cows £3 12s 6d to £4, forward cows £3 to £3 ss, store cows 35s to £2 Is, forward empty heifers 36s to £2 ss, heifers in calf £2 7s Gd to £3 18s, springing heifers £5 2s 6d, 15-month 3teers 30s, bulls £2 5s to £3 10s.
