By Telegraph—Press Association. FEILDING, March 25. A serious fire occurred about a mile from town, this afternoon, a dwelling house, the property of L M. Horracks, one of the best residences in the locality, being completely destroyed. A piano and a few articles of furniture were saved. The fire originated in a washhouHe, and a strong wind blew it through the house before it could be extinguished. The house was only finished two months ago. Mt Horrocks was married last month, and his losses i.mlude a collection of val-uable wedding presents. The insurance on the house, which cost over £l,lOO, was £BOO. There was no insurance on the furniture, the owner intending to take out a policy in a dav or two.
