One of the railway guards had a miraculous escape from a terrible death at Seddon the'other day. He was engaged in shunting operations, and -lomehow slipped and fell between the trucks. He was across the rail, right under the wheels. Under ordinary circumstances the man seemed doomed to a shocking death; but a miracle intervened, and the wheels, in place of grinding him beneath their remorseless discs,, literally shoved him aside on to the side track. Beyond a few bruises and the inevitable shock, he escaped unscathed. Mrs Head, Fyans-st., Geelong, Vic. writes "I have found great relief from rheumatism by applying Chamberlain's Pain Balm. It is an excellent liniment, and I strongly recommend any 'person suffering from this distressing and painful ailment to try it. My husband has also used Chamberlain's Pain Balm for cuts and bruises, awd was delighted with the benefit received from it." For 3ale .by all *chem, ists and storekeepers.
