MARVELLOUS MYSTERIES.
At the Town Hall, on Monday and Thursday, March 29th and 30th, Mr Henry Hayward will piesent Maskelyne and Devant's Mysteries. Maskelyne and Devant's Mysteries (late Maselyne and Cooke) come from the Egyptian and St. George's Halls, LondoD, where they hold the world's record of a continuous and unbroken season of over nineteen thousand consecutive performances, a run that has no parallel in the entertainment history of the we rid. Maskelyne and Devant had the most successful season on record at the Palare Theatre, Sydney, over 67,000 patrons paying for admission- The London "Daily Telegraph" says:-"Maskelyne and Cooke are as much a feature of the Metropolis as Charing Cross, and certainly an older one than .the Tower Bridge, for over a quarter of a century their entertainment has equally delighted old and young, and the record is one to be proud of."
