Sir C. B. McLaren, Liberal Member for the Bosworth'Division of Leices tersnire, calculating that there are forty million rats in Great Britain, which do annual damage to the extent of £15,000.01)0, has introduced in the House of Commons a Bill to extirpate tbem.
