(By Telegraph—Special to Wairarapa Age). PALMERSTON N., March IS. Messrs Abraham and William?, Ltd., report as follows on their Palmerston N. sale to-day :—A full yavcing of sheep, principally aged breeding ewes, met rather a dragging sale. Several lines of good f.f.m. ewes met with keen competition, and realised good prices. '1 he yarding of cattle was smaller than usual, and consisted chiefly of female stock, for which the demand was not particularly good. Quotations:- Big framed good conditioned aged ewas 10s 7d to lis Id; f.f.m. ewes, 9s Is tolOsOd; f.m. ewes, 6s 6d to Bsaged ewes, 5s to 7s; cull ewes, 3s to 4s 6d; lambs, 5s 9d to6s'6d; 4 tooth wethers, 10s 3d; 2-tooth ewes, 12s7d; Romney rams, 10s to £1; light fat cows, £4 ss; forward cows, £2 8s to £3 ss; store cows, 35s to £2 ss;emDty 2-year heifers, 33 ; bulls, £3 7s 6d to £4 12s 6d; weaner steers, 15s.
