FATAL QUARREL. . ♦- A COOK SHOT. ASSAILANT COMMITS SUICIDE. Received Maiv.h 17, 10.20 a.m. BRISBANE, March 17. From a farm near I'ort Douglas, a small town which lies about the centre of the coast of Trinity Bay, about 40 miles distant from Cairns, comes news of a tragedy. A farm hand named Donclly, had a quarrel! with the cook at the farm, a man named MacDonahl, and shot him. He then tamed the weapon on himself. Donelly is dead, and MacDonald liss in a serious condition.
