«fr Mr J. C. Boddington reports that the rainfall registered at Upper Plain for the 24 hours preceeding 9 a.m. on Saturday was 6 points, and for the 24 hours proceeding 9 a.m. on Sunday one point. By Telegraph—Press Association. WELLINGTON, March 15. The following is Captain Edwin's forecast to 3 p.m. to-morrow:— Moderate to strong winds principally from the southward at places north of Lyttelton and Hokitika, and from the westward elsewhere.
