Burge, whose inclusion in the Wellington team to compete in the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Championships at Dunedin, next Saturday, was in doubt, ran a mile tonight in the presence of the selectors, in 4min 42sec, and will accordingly be a member of the team. E. Williams, of Wanga/ui, will also be sent. He will compete in the quarter | and half-mile [races. This brings Wellington's team up to nine.
