DOMINION BAZAAR.
SATURDAY'S PROGRAMME. The Dominion Bazaar was open on Saturday afternoon, when there was a good attendance of lady visitors. A baby show was held, the winner being Mrs Drake. In the evening prior to opening the Masterton South Band had a DarKtown procession, and played severa 1 selections in front of the halls. The Masterton Bagpipe Band also voluntarily assisted, and their efforts resulted in a large crowd assembling in ; the Bazaar. The Bazaar Executive wish to thank the Pipe Band most heartily for their kind assistance. Numerous raffles were got off during the evening, the various scallholders also doing good business. A variety concert was held in the Town Hall, the following assisting in the programme:—Messrs Grant, McKay (2), Lenihan, Creighton, Gray and Misses Ruby Thompson, Marjorie Gray, Trudgeon and Joyce and Bedford. The programme concluded with a cake walk by three young ladies—Misses Trudgeon, Andrews andßraggine—which was much appreciated by the large audience present. As the stalls are still stocked the Bazaar Committee have decided to open the Drill Hall this evening ! and to-morrow night, when the various articles will be sold at great reduction. At intervals items will be rendered by the Tiny Dots.' Previous to opening to-night the old Veterans Brass Band will hold a costume procession in Queen street, starting at 7.15 o'clock. They will also play selections in front of the Hall. The following are the winners of raffles on Saturday evening :—Miss Pauling, Pickett (2), Bob Janr'eson, "Queen street," "McCarthy," R. Langley, Mrs F. Boyle, Ruby Thompson, Mr Biggs, Mr Redman.
