Dr Ivan Wilson, of Dunedin, has been appointed Junior House Surgeon at the Napier Hospital. Dr N. H. Prior has been appointed a public vaccinator for the districc of ftiasterton. Messrs. J. A. Ordish, Jas. Holder, and E. Tuonicliff, well-known farmers of Daletield, purpose leaving shortly on a holiday visit to Rotorua. Police-Sergeant Smart, at odp time in charge of the Career ton district, and now of Hastings, is at present on a visit to Carterton. , Mr R. S. Abraham, head o? the firm of Abraham and Williams, Ltd., left Palmerst'.n on Tuesday on hia trip to the Old Country. Mr Charles Hay will leave Dunedin for via Suez, or, Sunday, for the purpose of representing the Dominion at the Dentists' International Congress. Mr W. J. Mahoney, who has been associated with the Waoganui Telegraph Office for the past 27 jears, has been promoted to the position of Chief Clerk at Hawera. Pitlendreigh, who will be located at Greytown.
