MASTERTON LADIES' SWIMMING CLUB.
A meeting of members of the above Club was held in the Dominion Hall yesterday afternoon, the president (Mrs J. W. Blackman) presiding. The secretary presented the interim balance-sheet, which showed receipts for the year £l2 and expenditure £7 4s Gd. This, together with balance in hand, ( leaves a credit balance of £lO 19s. Accounts amounting to £7 4s 63 were passed fur payment. It was decided that an honorarium of £i Is be voted to Mr Falls, and a present be selected by Mesdames Blackman, Eton, arid Kendall, be given Ui ?.lrs Frtii. in recognition of their at thy Carnival, and as a slight token of appreciation. The secretary was instructed to wiite to De VV. M. IlosV.irsg asking him to suggest in what manner the Club could ast'i-t him in the matter of the proposed i;evv swimming baths, as the Club vvas most anxious to see his scheme realised.
