GISBORNE SUPREME COURT.

By Telegraph—Press Association. GISBORNE, March 9. At the Supreme Court to-day,, before Mr Justice Edwards, Edward Boniface, for breaking and entering, was sentenced to two years' onment. This was the second trial, and the conviction was solely on fin 7 ger print evidence. This concluded the criminal sitt« ing, and the claim for damages for alleged libel and wrongful dismissal, Connell v. "Gishorne Times," waj partly heard.
