SELLING WHISKY WITHOUT A LICENSE.
I SENTENCE OF THREE MONTHS. i I By Telegraph—Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, March 8. Alfred Bethord was to-day sent to gaol for three months without the option of a fine, for selling whisky in Tuam Street on Sunday morning without a license. He had sold 3s worth, and gave up another bottle when arrested. He was in the habit of hanging qbout the streets for the purpose.
